Semester 2-2008/2009
begins on January 25, 2008 and
ends May 15, 2009.
ALL STUDENTS will be required to register online using the Banner Student Administration System via the web from anywhere – at home, at cyber café, between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 12.00 midnight Eastern Standard Time or at designated faculty computer labs.
ONLINE REGISTRATION DATES:
Semester 2: January 19, 2009 to February 13th, 2009
Change of Registration (ADD/DROP) – until February 13, 2009
Late fee of TT$200.00 applies from: 9th February, 2009
NOTE: Registration will not be permitted after February 13, 2009- Semester II without the approval of the Academic Board. Additional late registration fines will be imposed by the Academic Board.

Pay particular attention to the Section ‘Year-Long courses if you are registering for a Year-long course(s). For information on payment of fees, please review STEP 4 of the Registration Guidebook at http://www.sta.uwi.edu/registration or give us a call at 1 868 662 2002 Exts. 4137/4173.
NOTE 1: Citizens of Trinidad & Tobago GATE form, with the Registration Fee Assessment/Invoice together with receipt for payment of compulsory fees, must be submitted to the Bursary ONLY at the beginning of the academic year in Semester I registration period.
NOTE 2: For Semester II registration, citizens of Trinidad & Tobago who have registered for Semester 1 courses, ONLY the Registration Fee Assessment/Invoice must be deposited in the Boxes provided, Bursary, Ground Floor, Student Administration Building.
NOTE 3: Citizens of Trinidad & Tobago registering in semester 2-2008/2009 for the first time for the academic year, GATE FORM together with receipt for payment of compulsory fees must be submitted with the Registration Fee Assessment / Invoice
One final note: students who are not required to read any Semester One courses in the academic year 2008/2009 MUST apply for leave of absence for Semester One. If you fall into this category, kindly come into the Admissions Office and complete the relevant Application for Leave of Absence form. However, you must remember to register for Semester II in January 2009.
REMINDER: If you have registered in the 2007/2008 summer school session and have not paid fees an Accounts Receivable (AR) HOLD would be placed on your record. This HOLD will prevent you from registering in the 2008/2009 academic year.
